CALL FOR ENTRIES TO MICA – FESPACO 2027

The 23^rd Edition of the African International Film and Audio-visual Market (MICA) will take place from 28 February to 05 March 2027 in Ouagadougou.

MICA is one of the main articulations of FESPACO PRO networking professionals in the various segments of the film and audio-visual industry.

MICA provides a space where you can find distribution platforms, meet with producers, film festivals, film schools, programmers, African film distributors and more.

The main purpose of the market is to foster exchanges building on the industry new business models.

MICA 2027 opens its doors to film professionals through:

1. Professional stands at the MICA Pavilion;
2. Registration of companies and films into the official FESPACO PRO/MICA catalogue;
3. On-demand screening sessions;
4. B to B spaces.

In this context, the Management of the Burkinabe Film and Audio-visual Agency (ABCA) would like to inform professionals of the industry that calls for entries to MICA 2027 are on:

1. From 27 April to 31 December 2026 for registrations into FESPACO PRO/MICA catalogue;
2. From 27 April 2026 to 15 January 2027 for stands at the MICA Pavilion;
3. From 27 April 2026 to 15 February 2027 for on-demand screening sessions.

Participation in MICA 2927 is subject to payment the registration fees as follows:

1. CFA Thirty-two thousand seven hundred ninety-eight (32,798) or Euro Fifty (50) or equivalent in USD for the FESPACO PRO catalogue;
2. CFA Thirty-two thousand seven hundred ninety-eight (32,798) or Euro Fifty (50) or equivalent in USD per hour for on-demand screening sessions;

CFA Five hundred thousand (500,000) or approximately Euro Seven hundred sixty-three (763) or equivalent in USD for a 9m2 stand.
