As part of the 30th Edition of the Pan-African Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO) taking place from 20 to 27 March 2027, professionals of the film and audio-visual industry are informed that applications for the YENNENGA CONNECTION programme are on until 15 January 2027.
Yennenga Connection is a strategic platform for industry professionals, technical and financial partners and project leaders as well. This forum for exchanges and promotion offers an opportunity to stakeholders of the sector to present their projects through various platforms including themed conferences, workshops, round tables, panels, master classes and pitch sessions. It is a unique framework for collaboration and co-production contributing to the growth and influence of African and Diaspora films worldwide.
Yennenga Connection welcomes all industry professionals, technical and financial partners and project leaders from around the world.
Eligible activities:
- Themed conferences;
- Press conferences;
- Workshops;
- Panels;
- Round tables;
- Master classes;
- Pitch sessions.
Application form:
Applicants shall provide the following:
- Full identity of applicant;
- Exact name and description of activity;
- Anticipated duration of activity;
- Identity and quality of speakers;
- Target audience and estimated number of participants.
Please specify your needs in terms of video projector, screen, catering service, interpreters, hostesses, and so on. Costs associated with such needs shall be at your expense.
Participating entities shall submit a comprehensive report (acts, minutes of meeting, presentations…) to the Department of FESPACO after the activity.
Application for Yennenga Connection is subject to payment of venue rental fee amounting to:
- CFA 75,000 per hour (or equivalent in Euro or USD) for 50-seat rooms;
- CFA 100,000 per hour (or equivalent in Euro or USD) for 100-seat rooms;
- CFA 150,000 per hour (or equivalent in Euro or USD) for 250-seat rooms.
Fees are payable to the ABCA Accounting Office or by bank transfer and shall not be refunded. Any hour started shall be due.
