KLEMABoubacar Gakou Touré, Mali, 2023

SYNOPSIS
In the Office du Niger region, the agricultural exploitation system leaves little room for livestock farming. The prioritization of agriculture has led to violent and deadly clashes between two communities. Gakou Touré, a filmmaker and farmer, native of the region and an engaged individual, returns home with his camera in an attempt to resolve this conflict within his community.

BIOFILMOGRAPHY
After theological studies, Boubacar Gakou Touré ventured into cinema as a director while undergoing training in documentary film writing and directing. He is now on his third feature-length film and has been leading the Malian Cinema Federation for the past three years.
