SYNOPSIS:
Hamidou, a young man, lives with his wife Chérifa and his younger brother Karim. Sakina, Chérifa’s friend, helps her with a traditional product said to make her husband more generous. However, after consuming the product, Hamidou loses his sight. Despite intensive treatments, his eyes remain closed. What is the composition of this mysterious product from a distant land, and what secrets does its late creator hold?
BIOFILMOGRAPHY:
Corenthien NANA is a Burkinabé filmmaker, born in 1990 in Bolomakoté, within the Boucle du Mouhoun region. He graduated from the Joseph Ki-Zerbo University and the National School of Administration and Judiciary (ENAM), specializing in cinema and audiovisual studies. He has directed four feature fiction films to date: Le Sort de Nestor (2019), Problème d’Amour (2021), Honorable Kiemtoré (2022), and La Conseillère (2023).
