Djelassem Appolinaire was born on February 9, 1999. He completed primary school in 2010 before attending Lycée Collège Saint-Étienne, where he obtained his A4 baccalaureate in 2017.
In 2012, Chadian director Achille Ronaimou spotted his talent and gave him the opportunity to play a leading role in his film. In 2018, he moved to Ouagadougou for his studies, where he had the chance to meet actors like Ismael (L’As du Lycée) and Oyou (Le Commissariat de Tampis).
After completing his studies in 2021, he traveled to Ghana to learn the language and undergo professional training. He returned home in 2022, where he now works as a cameraman on various films and writes screenplays.
