SYNOPSIS :
Niara, an independent young woman with a troubled past, crosses paths with Akin, a young man in search of his identity. Their lives intertwine at a party, where an instant connection forms. As they grow closer, they face challenges personal and social, including anxiety attacks, racism and police violence. In a journey of love and overcoming, Niara and Akin discover the strength of their union and the importance of facing the ghosts of the future together.
BIOFILMOGRAPHY :
Licínio Januário is an actor, screenwriter, and filmmaker certified by the London Film Academy (United Kingdom). He is the founder of Wolo TV, a brasilian streaming platform focused on productions led by Black creators. Originally from Angola, Licínio won co-directed the brasilian version of the YouTube Originals production “Creator Spotlight. “Among his notable works are the award-winning short film “A Namoradeira,” the tv series “Casa da Vó” (Grandma’s House) featuring Brazilian singer Margareth Menezes, “Eu, Minha House e a Minha Quebrada” (The New Milionaire) with Leozito Rocha, and the documentary “A Arte da Sobrevivência Africana,” (The art of African Survival) which highlights African visual artists residing in São Paulo, Brazil.
