Mahama Konaté, a great Burkinabè musician, introduces his son to traditional culture and music by teaching him how to play the balafon. This film explores the socio-cultural significance of the balafon, a traditional African musical instrument. Through the father-son initiation, the audience discovers the myths and beliefs surrounding this instrument, highlighting its deep cultural roots.

Issiaka Konaté, a Burkinabè filmmaker, was born on June 16, 1959, in Bobo-Dioulasso. He has directed several films, including:
