Amid the barren lands of Namibia, on the former German colonial soil, dangerous and unsecured tunnels lead deep into a monolithic mountain. Major, Esmeralda, and Peter work in illegal mines searching for precious stones. This Sisyphean task yields little financial reward, yet the workers risk their lives day after day to carry it out. The group is trapped in a microcosm, their dreams buried in the dust.
