SYNOPSIS:
In the war-displaced persons camp in Goma, UMWARI sits on a bench, recounting her various lives across refugee camps. From BULENGO to BÂLE, she narrates an endless journey as a refugee and migrant in the world.
BIOFILMOGRAPHY:
Born in 1982 in Goma, Safari SENGAIRE Ally is a filmmaker from the Democratic Republic of Congo. In 2011, after training in documentary film techniques and production organized by the Yole!Africa cultural center, he directed his first short documentary, LA DANSE EST UNE PASSION. In 2015, he directed RÊVE DE BOKULAKA, and in 2018, his short fiction film PENSÉES CROISÉES.
