SYNOPSIS
The Bôro, a Toussian fetish, possesses its children—they emerge from the bush, moving and crying out to deliver a message. The Dozos offer water to the ancestors on various sacred altars, pleading for the mercy of gods and spirits. They heal, cure, and bring prosperity, peace, and love. All these cultural beliefs and ancestral practices share a single purpose: fostering social cohesion and togetherness.
