SYNOPSIS:
Daniel, a widowed father, lives in the north of Martinique with his 8-year-old daughter, Soraya. A fisherman and restaurant owner, he struggles to survive in a socio-economic crisis. His daily life is turned upside down when his daughter tries to summon mermaids using a conch shell. While the little girl simply wants to befriend them, Daniel fears her growing obsession could lead to a dangerous invasion.

BIOFILMOGRAPHY:
A 2015 graduate of the CEEA (Conservatoire Européen d’Écriture Audiovisuelle), Sarah Malléon has written episodes for several series, including Sam and Mercato, and co-directed Dubout. She recently co-wrote the TV movie Le Fantôme des Saintes for France 3. Currently, she is working on Black Musketeer, a new Disney+ series, as well as the biopic La Guêpe for LincolnTV, and is developing her first series with Aux Singuliers.
