SYNOPSIS
The inner turmoil of an imprisoned man. This film immerses the audience in the emotional and psychological states of a prisoner. Through dance, he attempts to transform his surrounding reality as he awaits his release and possible reintegration into society.
BIOFILMOGRAPHY
Kivu Ruhorahoza, a Rwandan filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer, was born in 1982 in Kigali. He has won multiple awards at international festivals, including Father’s Day (Berlinale Encounters Competition, 2022), the docufiction Europa (IDFA Feature Competition, 2019), as well as the dramas Things of the Aimless Wanderer (Sundance, 2015) and Matière Grise (TriBeCa & FESPACO, 2011).
