Samira El Mouzghiba, Morocco, 2024 SYNOPSIS As the youngest of five sisters, I know I have inherited a painful part of their story. In response to a tragic event that was kept silent, a sisterhood was formed—one that excluded my mother. Since then, between us, we refer to her as “Your mother,” as if she were no longer one of us. Now, for the first time, she is ready to speak.
