Tunisian director Kaouther Ben Hania is constantly going back and forth between documentary and fiction. She has had an extraordinary career over the last few years.
Her previous film “The Man Who Sold His Skin” was nominated for The Academy Award for Best International Feature Film at the Oscars 2021 and had its world premiere at the 77th Venice International Film Festival, Orizzonti Competition and won Best Actor Award.
Her film “Beauty and the Dogs” was premiered at Cannes Film Festival official selection “Un Certain Regard” in 2017.
