SYNOPSIS
Youssef, a twelve-year-old blind boy, has been an orphan since the age of six months and lives with his grandparents, Allal, a taxi driver, and Ouardia. They reside in a remote village in the desert. One day, his grandfather buys him a camera, and Youssef begins photographing everything around him.
BIOFILMOGRAPHIE
With a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Nancy in 1981, Daoud Aoulad-Syad ventured into cinema after participating in a film workshop at FEMIS in 1989. He directed his first feature film, Adieu Forain (1998), which won the Critics’ Prize at CINEMED, and En Attendant Pasolini (2007), which earned the Best Arab Film Award at the Cairo International Film Festival.
