SYNOPSIS
ALAMAKO, an unemployed painter, struggles with the high cost of living, accumulating unpaid rent. Though people admire his creativity, he is unable to sell his artwork on the market. Fascinated by migration, he recalls a promise made to his mother and an enticing job offer that requires extensive documentation. Will he manage to gather everything he needs?
BIOFILMOGRAPHY
Guinean filmmaker Mamadou Korka CAMARA has worked on numerous student films. In 2021, he served as a script assistant in the graduation film of the 16th class of the Department of Dramatic Arts. In 2022, he was an assistant director and lead actor in the film Thedoungal. In 2023, he directed multiple films, including Pigment Naturel and Le Pacte.
