ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Panafrican Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO) returns for its 29th edition, which will take place from February 22 to March 1, 2025, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Since its creation in 1969, FESPACO has established itself as the largest gathering of African cinema and its diaspora, bringing together thousands of professionals and enthusiasts for a rich and diverse program.

With prestigious competitions, including the renowned Étalon de Yennenga, as well as screenings, workshops, and professional meetings, FESPACO celebrates the creativity, talent, and cultural diversity of the continent.
