SYNOPSIS
DINGAM, a 12-year-old deaf-mute boy living in Doba, Chad, possesses a unique gift: the ability to draw and predict the future. His father, NGAR, secures a job at a Russian company, but this opportunity triggers a dark cycle of domestic violence when he breaks an old vow to never drink again. As NGAR spirals into aggression and abuse, DINGAM witnesses his mother’s suffering and seeks divine intervention by pleading for forgiveness in the sacred forest.
Determined to protect his mother, DINGAM exposes the abuse through his drawings, revealing the painful truth to those around him. In a desperate act, he stabs his father, believing he has killed him. However, NGAR survives, leading to a dramatic turning point in the family’s fate. With the crucial support of his teacher, INNOCENT—who interprets his drawings and testifies on his behalf—DINGAM’s actions initiate a process of reconciliation within his broken family.
