Synopsis
Habiba, a 23-year-old young woman, is trapped in a destructive cycle of heroin addiction and prostitution. After a violent altercation with a client, she ends up in the hospital, accompanied by her friend Rash. Their unusual appearance draws the attention of both patients and staff.
Rash lets Habiba enter the consultation room alone, where a doctor informs her that she is pregnant. Shocked but determined to keep the baby, Habiba asks for help. The doctor refers her to a specialized center for medical follow-up and future childbirth. As she leaves, a nurse named Sarah, who recognizes Habiba as a former friend, discreetly takes her number to contact her later.
Back home, Rash insists that Habiba get an abortion, but she firmly refuses. Deeply moved by Habiba’s story and struggling with her own infertility, Sarah decides to convince her husband, Tibo, to help her friend. Initially reluctant, Tibo eventually supports Sarah’s decision. Together, they provide Habiba with the financial assistance she needs for her treatment, strengthening her resolve to carry her pregnancy to term.
Habiba joins the specialized center, where she begins an addiction treatment program and prepares for motherhood. Thanks to Sarah’s support and the center’s guidance, she successfully overcomes the effects of drug withdrawal and gives birth to a healthy baby. This marks a new chapter in her life, filled with responsibility and hope.
