SYNOPSIS
After years of absence, Dr. Zia Baldé returns to Senegal, deeply affected by the tragic loss of her sister Kalsoum, a victim of domestic violence. To give her life new meaning, she opens a support center for abused women. However, her return disrupts the family’s fragile balance and brings to light troubling questions about the circumstances surrounding her sister’s death.
BIOFILMOGRAPHY
Born in 1976, Abdoulahad Wone is a Senegalese director, producer, and the first AVID-certified editor in the country, trained at INA in 1998. Known for his expertise, he has contributed to training audiovisual technicians. A prolific filmmaker, he directed Justice Divine (2009), his first feature film, and the series Tundu Wundu (2013), which was broadcast on A+ and won Best Series at FESPACO 2017.
