SYNOPSIS:
Born in 1909 in Pouy, Burkina Faso, Ouézzin Daniel Coulibaly emerged as a charismatic and iconic figure in the struggle for the independence of French West Africa (AOF). Alongside Félix Houphouët-Boigny, he launched the African Democratic Rally (RDA) for unity and freedom. Serving as a Deputy, General Councilor, Senator, and Territorial Advisor, he rose to become the Vice-President of the Government Council of Upper Volta in 1957.

BIOFILMOGRAPHY:
Born in 1965 in Burkina Faso, Sidbewende Bernard YAMEOGO is a screenwriter, producer, and director. Through his company, AfricaVision.Tv, he has created numerous fiction and documentary films. His works have been officially selected for FESPACO in 2005, 2009, 2011, 2015, and 2017. He won the Gallian Award in 2005 in the television documentary category and received a special mention at the North-South Panorama Festival in Geneva in 2006.
