SYNOPSIS
Abdellah MBARKI strives to protect the acacia tree from the dangers of cutting, burning, and grazing. The threats persist until the tree faces its ultimate demise—an assassination.
BIOGRAPHY AND FILMOGRAPHY
Yassine Ait Fkir is a Moroccan filmmaker. In 2011, she earned a professional degree in cinema and audiovisual studies. She has directed several fiction and documentary films, including Guardian of Heaven and A Day with the Nomads (2011), Scientific Research in the Service of the Environment (2013), and River Noun and the Caravan Trade (2022).
