SYNOPSIS
Mounira, a woman in her thirties, earns her living from the small fricassé food stand she inherited from her late father. Located at the heart of the Henchir Lehoudiya scrapyard in the southern suburbs of Tunis, this space is largely dominated by men. Will she be able to overcome the challenges she faces and sustain her business in this harsh environment?

BIOGRAPHY
Sahar El Echi is a Tunisian filmmaker and visual artist. A graduate of the Institut Supérieur des Beaux-Arts de Tunis (ISBAT), she creates independent films and essays and won the Prince Claus Seed Award in 2024. Sahar has also been selected for various artistic programs and residencies, including Documentary Film Methods at the Danish Film School (2019).
