SYNOPSIS
Ramatoulaye, a 50-year-old teacher, has been married to lawyer Modou Fall for 25 years. The couple shares a deep bond and enjoys a happy life with their four children. However, when her husband takes a second wife—her daughter’s best friend—the betrayal is devastating. This marks the beginning of a battle where tradition and modernity collide.
BIOFILMOGRAPHY:
Angèle Diabang is a Senegalese filmmaker and producer. Through her production company, Karoninka, which she founded in 2006, she has produced around fifteen films. Her short film Un Air de Kora won multiple awards at FESPACO 2019, including the Bronze Stallion and Best ECOWAS Director. Angèle also served for two and a half years as the head of Senegal’s copyright and neighboring rights society.
