SYNOPSIS:
The film depicts a night of horror in a West African city. That night, Alex, a thief, was waiting for the right moment to break into a house. Peering through the window, he observed the occupants—Stéphane and Aline, a young couple struggling with misunderstandings caused by late-night outings and alcoholism. As he watched, he became an unexpected witness to domestic violence.
BIOFILMOGRAPHY:
Delphine Yerbanga is a Burkinabé filmmaker. She holds a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Studies from the Institut de Formation en Techniques de l’Information et de la Communication in Niger and a Master’s in Documentary Filmmaking from Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis, Senegal. She has directed several films, including Sur les traces d’un migrant (2021) and L’Âge d’or du FESPACO (2019).
