SYNOPSIS

Lukas,11 years, witnesses the brutal murder of his mum and grand-mum by his step dad. Sent to Windhoek, he meets with Samora and his gang. His life then become intimately intertwined with the one of Samora. Spanning over 15 years, the film follows Lukas story, discusses how street kids survive in the streets of Windhoek and how the past constantly influences the present.

Born in France, Philippe Talavera has been based in Namibia to Namibia since 1997. Films include International Multi-Award winner ‘Kapana’ (2020 – winner best feature on four different continents), ‘Kukuri’ (2018), International Award winner ‘Salute!’ (2017), ‘Pap and milk’ (2016), Award winner ‘now that I can talk about it’ (2013) and ‘Stinky boy’ (2012).
