Yennenga Connection is a programme for industry professionals, technical and financial partners, film experts and project leaders to present their projects through various platforms including themed conferences, workshops, round tables, panels, master classes or pitch sessions.
Article 1: This Regulation aims to define the organizational, operational and participation conditions for the Yennenga Connection programme.
Article 2: The Yennenga Connection programme will be hosted from 21 to 26 March 2027.
Article 3: Application for the Yennenga Connection programme (themed conferences, workshops, panels, round tables, master classes or pitch sessions) is subject to payment of venue rental fee amounting to:
- CFA 75,000 or approximately Euro 115 or equivalent in USD per hour for 50-seat rooms;
- CFA 100,000 or approximately Euro 153 or equivalent in USD per hour for 100-seat rooms;
- CFA 150,000 or approximately Euro 229 or equivalent in USD per hour for 250-seat rooms.
Any hour started shall be due. Rental fee is payable in advance and is non-refundable.
Article 4: In addition to the fees referred to under Article 3, the other costs shall be borne by the applicant.
Article 5: Deadline for application is 15 January 2027 at 23h 59mn on the platform by clicking here.
Article 6: Applicants must provide the following information:
- Full identity of applicant;
- Exact name and description of activity to be carried out;
- Anticipated duration of activity;
- Identity and quality of speaker(s);
- Target audience and number of participants expected.
Article 7: Organizations participating in the Yennenga Connection programme are required to complete the reporting template sent to them and return it to the Management of the Burkinabe Film and Audio-visual Agency (ABCA) no later than thirty (30) days following end of activity.
Article 8: The Management of ABCA shall be responsible for programming activities in rooms equipped for this purpose.
Article 9: The programme of activities under the Yennenga Connection workshop will be published on the websites of ABCA and FESPACO.
Article 10: The Director General of ABCA shall ensure strict compliance with the room occupancy schedule.
Article 11: Participation in the Yennenga Connection programme implies full adherence to this Regulation.
Article 12: The Director General of ABCA shall be competent to hear any dispute over the interpretation and application of the provisions of this Regulation.
Amicable settlement shall be favoured in the event of any dispute.
Article 13: Only the French version of this Regulation is authentic.
Article 14: Cases not provided for by this Regulation shall fall within the competence of the Director General of ABCA.
